It depends on the tool. Some third-party platforms embed seamlessly without any extra work, while others may require coordination with their team. We’ll evaluate each one with you and help determine what’s possible based on their capabilities.

Can I build absolutely anything I want?

CustomUI is extremely flexible. A dedicated project manager will work with you to understand your goals and help design your ideal interface. If anything is technically complex or requires extra development, we’ll clearly communicate your options before moving forward.

How long does it take to build a CustomUI experience?

Timelines vary depending on the scope of your vision, but many projects can be completed in a couple of days to a few weeks. We’ll give you an estimated timeline upfront once we understand your needs.

Does CustomUI cost extra?

If you’re using Shape’s out-of-the-box tools, CustomUI isn’t required. For example, Shape already provides 80 customizable fields and flexible workflows by default. However, if you want those elements designed, arranged, and displayed in a way that’s tailored to your ideal layout and process, CustomUI is the next step.

CustomUI is a premium monthly add-on. This includes personalized setup, ongoing interface updates, and support from a dedicated project manager who will walk you through options and pricing before any work begins.

Can I make changes to my CustomUI after it’s live?

Yes—your CustomUI is designed to evolve with your business. Each plan includes a set number of revisions per month, so you can request updates as your needs shift. If you anticipate ongoing or more frequent changes, we also offer expanded plans to support more extensive customization.
